Letter from a Soldier in Iraq

Yesterday I received an astonishing email.  I thought you would find it very interesting.  

Here is the email:

Attention: Sir,

   Please forgive me if I intrude your privacy, we do not know each other but, what matters here is for you to understand this deal. My name is [name withheld]. I am an army officer who is currently serving the United States of America in the Army, over in Iraq. I came to know about you in my private search for a reliable and reputable person to handle this confidential business transaction. In course of this war I have find opportunity to relate a very important business deal, first I don't want you to be afraid of this mail, and it is the only way to express this transaction to you.

    Sir, I discover 2 boxes barreled beneath the ground in small hurt within the desert near a palace in Baghdad, Iraq boarder. And when I open it I saw it full of dollars, what of 10 million dollars. I took the boxes photograph and luck the box then I quickly declare the boxes to UNICEF staff who came to rescue victims of the war to neighboring country where American set as center for treatment, I drop a note with UNICEF staff that the boxes belongs to an alien who leave in Iraq and they want me to keep there personal belongings for them. The staff fully accepted the boxes from me and put it inside the flight to a near by country within the Middle East.

   Now that the Iraq is about to gaining their new political ambition by conduction new election for a new civilian president, I am using this point to make you the owner of those boxes I am telling you about which is now in a security Vault, I will give you the document which the security Vault issued to the UNICEF staff who finally drop these boxes in the security company and also I will the person to authorize that these boxes should be release to you.

   Please I don't want you to worry of anything on how you can claim this boxes because UNICEF staff and the Security Vault doesn't know the content of these boxes, I did not revealed it to them , they only knew that a family entrusted there family belongings to me for safe keeping. These boxes come to you through the security Vault which there duty to keep valuables.

   Every day my heart breaks with the news that more US army lives have been lost and endeavor now they no longer exist because of the conflict in Iraq. Even a cursory glance at the news tells the world that Iraq seems to be a quagmire; certainly not the success it was predicted to be. We here in fighting Iraq realize this. With your respond can make this transaction a hope for me and the tangle thing I achieve in Iraq I want you to write me and I shall brief you all details to achieve this aim.

This sounds like an amazing opportunity.  And this fellow sounds much more honest than some of the Nigerian entrepreneurs I have attempted to do business with.  What do you think I should do?
